A Malaysian Airlines Flight which was bound to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has been missing for several hours now. There is still no information about the whereabouts of the aircraft. There were 239 people aboard the plane, including 12 crew members and 227 passengers among whom, 158 were Chinese and the rest belonged to 12 different Nationalities of America, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Netherlands, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, France, Italy and Malaysia.
The Vietnam Air Traffic Control said that the Flight failed to check in as scheduled. Full scale search and rescue operation is in progress to locate the plane. All the Family members of the passengers were informed about the situation by the airlines.
