Flipkart lists Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus

The tech giant Apple has not still announced the price of its latest models for the Indian market, yet the flagship smartphones of the company have been listed on India’s top e-com destination Flipkart. The two smartphones are available in colors of space greys, gold and rose gold. The pricing starts at Rs. 64,836 and Rs. 74,117 respectively. Below is the list of prices of new smartphone variants as set by the sellers and are not the official prices:

According to some sources these indicative prices have been communicated by Apple and the company is ready to take advance orders. However, Apple has not commented on this yet. Some of the major retailers in the country are already taking pre-orders. Pre-booking is also available on Infibeam. MobileStore, which is the largest mobile phone retailer in India with over 800 branches, will start pre-bookings at Rs. 2000 up to October 13. Apple will make the devices available by October 15.

People have been already accustomed to ‘multi – touch’, now with iPhone 6S and 6S Plus ‘3D Touch’ has been introduced. Tim Cook, Apple CEO says about new smartphones, “They look familiar, but we have changed everything about these iPhones.” The new 3D Touch the screen will be able to sense various levels of pressure. Since iPhone 4S Apple has been stuck with 8 megapixels camer. But the new smartphones have been upgraded with 12 megapixels camera and a 50 percent faster autofocus. Apple says now iPhones will be able to deliver better detailed photos. It also allows you to take 63MP 4K resolution panorama shots. The selfie camera also got better with 5MP from 1.2MP. Instead of a LED flash, Apple has used a Retina Flash which Apple claims offer better performance. A very new feature introduced is the ‘Live photos’ which allows you to make animated GIFs by capturing a 1.5 second video. iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are stronger than their predecessors as they are made of aircraft – grade aluminium alloy.
