LG G SmartWatch is now available for purchase worldwide bringing you the convenience of checking your notifications right on your wrist through its always on display. The wearable device can now be ordered from the Google play store.
The device is also available around the globe with some selected retailers. This is the first wearable device to be powered by Android Wear. What makes it more convenient and usable is its button – free design and an “always on” display. Dr. Jong-seok Park (CEO, LG electronics) said that this is the beginning of long – term development of the wearable devices running over Android wear. He also said that LG is confident that once the users come to see how useful the device it, just like the Smartphone it would become an integral part of their lives. The Smart phones with Android 4.3 or above can be made compatible with the Smartwatch using the Android Wear app that can also be downloaded from the play store.
The device has been designed keeping simplicity and ease of usability in mind. The voice recognition uses the best technology available so that you get things done in one command. The always – on display lets you see the information without pressing a button and waking up the screen. A large 400mAh battery powers the watch. For customizing your watch you can interchange its strap with any 22mm standard band. The device presently is available in the following countries both online and offline: United States, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, UK, Japan, South Korea and India. In some other countries including Brazil, Singapore, Russia, New Zealand and Mexico, the watch will be available at retailers. For each market, the price will be announced locally.
