Apple Watch Launches in India on November 6

There is no denying that India is one of the biggest markets in the world for Apple products. Over the years, Indians have displayed their love for Apple products in the form of countless purchases. Apple’s new gadget, the Apple Watch might also get the same reception as previous Apple products have got. Making it official, Apple announced that the Apple Watch will make its debut in the Indian market on November 6. Although the price has been made public right now but Apple is expected to do that as well in the coming days.

The Apple Watch is a smart watch developed solely to assist the user in their day-to-day lives. It incorporates fitness tracking and health-oriented capabilities and integration with iOS and other Apple products and services. The device will be available in three different variants namely the Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Edition. Potential buyers are expecting the price of the Sport edition to be around Rs 36999. However, if you want it for a bit cheap, the option of buying through eBay is always open since the sellers there are asking for a little above Rs 27400.
The three variants of the watch are of course, priced differently. The Apple Watch starts at $549 (roughly Rs 35600), the price of Apple Watch Edition can go up to $17000 which comes to around Rs 11 lakhs. Lastly, the sport edition of the watch is priced at $349 (roughly Rs. 22700). Considering these prices are meant for US, a price band of about Rs 30,000 would seem more acceptable to the buyers in India.

The launch of Apple Watch is an important event for CEO Tim Cook as it is the first new product category to be launched after he took over from Steve Jobs. Apple has invested a lot of time in Apple Watch and is looking for returns now. It either comes with a sapphire crystal or Ion-X glass retina display, depending on the version you choose. Apple has claimed that the gadget can last for up to 18 hours on a single charge and has a 72-hour power reserve. The watch runs on Watch OS2 with support for native apps, an activation lock and a Nightstand mode. Apple has equipped the Watch with many other features which are meant to make life easier for you.
