The 1Gbps plan which is regarded as the middle tier plan on the basis of cost comparison amongst the other two plans will attract no construction fee in case of a one year commitment. This service as said before would cost users $70 per month. This plan features 1TB cloud storage across different platforms like Gmail, Google+ photos and Google Drive. The top end plan in the Google’s offering is for $130 per month. This plan also consists of 1Gbps speed and 1TB cloud storage across Google platforms. The addition to this plan is in respect to the TV channels. This plan features more than 150 TV channels with a feature allowing the user to record maximum 8 TV shows at once.
Google, however, has not notified a particular date on which these services will be switched on. However, the company said that they had made a lot of progress, but has lots more digging to do as it has to lay fiber for 1000 plus miles to set up the network. Google is providing final touches to its operations base at 201 Colorado Street. Google Fiber services are available in different cities like Kansas City & Provo, Utah for prices similar to what is being offered in Austin.
