Microsoft is promoting Windows 10 extensively as it already has the fastest start in history by being upgraded at a rate which is almost three times as that of Windows 7. Microsoft’s Surface Book is a powerful, high performance laptop and has a much better touch and pen support from its predecessors. Surface Books will look to combine the power of Intel’s 6th Generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors with up to 12 hours of battery life. Other advantages of Surface Book would be that its screen is detachable so that it could be used as a clipboard to take notes or draw sketches etc. Microsoft has made Surface Book while keeping in mind all types of users. An optional GPU allows the laptop to harness the full power of hardware-accelerated graphics. The GPU would allow for much faster video editing, smoother gaming and many other things. Microsoft has also claimed that this is fastest 13-inch laptop ever built and will be twice as fast as the MacBook Pro. The Price of Surface Book in the US will be starting from $1,499.
Pretty soon, the Xbox will also be powered by Windows 10. Microsoft has revealed plans to release a free update through which the users can enjoy the fastest and most social Xbox experience ever. A new and major update here is the Xbox One Backward Compatibility which will allow the users to play their Xbox 360 games on Xbox One for free with 100 games at launch and hundreds more in the months following that.
Microsoft has also been working on its Microsoft Band 2 which is aimed at helping people live healthier and achiever more. The new band has a curved shape and is easy to wear. Cortana also helps the user to reply to texts, set reminders etc. The Band will sell for around $249 and is available for preorder in select markets.
