Google to launch Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in India on Oct 13

Google has confirmed that it will be launching LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P on 13th of this month in India, just ahead of the Apple’s iPhone launch. It is rumored that the new OnePlus X might also be rolled out this month. It seems manufacturers are trying their very best to cash in on the shopping season. We can say that Google’s Nexus phones aren’t at competition with the Apple’s iPhone 6S and 6S Plus since there is much difference between the price of two. With the launching date of the two companies too close, it can’t be said which one will gain more fans. Nexus 5X with 16 GB and 32 GB are priced at Rs. 31,900 and Rs. 35,900 respectively. The Huawei Nexus 6P variants of 32 GB, 64 GB and 124 GB are priced at Rs, 39,999, Rs. 42,999 and Rs. 47,999 respectively.

The premium one out of the two Google Smartphones is the Huawei Nexus 6P. It sports a 4.7 inch display, 3 GB RAM and is powered by Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa core processor. Nexus 6P has an AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560p. It has rear camera of 12.3 megapixels and a rear one with 8 megapixels. The 3450mAh battery offers a long life. It has dimensions of 159.3 x 77.8 mm, is 7.3 mm thick and weighs around 178 grams. The Nexus 5X comes with 5.2 inch 1080p screen made up of Gorilla Glass 3. This one runs on 1.8GHz hexa core Snapdragon 808 SoC and has a 2 GB RAM, 12.3 megapixels rear camera, 5 megapixels front camera and Adreno 418 graphics. Both the models will be shipped with Android Marshmallow. Instead of a micro USB connector, the devices will have a USB type- C connector.
