Apple iPhone 6S release draws near

It is highly expected that apple might announce its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus at San Fracisco’s Bill Graham auditorium on September 9. The two models will be thicker than the previous iPhone 6 models and some major improvements are expected for front and rear cameras. Some photos of iPhone 6S have leaked and as per the Mac rumors the device has a thickness of 7.08 mm. The previous iPhone 6 model was slimmer with 6.9 mm thickness. iPhone 6S Plus will have a thickness of 7.3 mm and has dimensions of 138.19 mm x 67.88 mm. We will see some new colors like Rose Gold. Both iPhones will be available in various variants of this color as confirmed by official teaser of Spigen. Apart from the colors the variants will also be available in memory options of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. These three variants are priced at $299, $399 and $499 respectively.

The earlier iPhone 6 models had a front camera of 1.2 megapixels and 8 megapixels rear camera. However the new models will have 5 megapixels front camera for better selfies. The rear camera will be upgraded to 12 megapixels and of course you will now be able to record videos at an amazing resolution of 4K.

There are many other significant improvements in iPhone 6S models including the Force touch display which takes command depending on how hard your touch is. The devices are powered by Apple A9 chipsets and come with 2GB RAM. The Touch ID sensor has also been upgraded. Rumors have it that Apple might also announce its Apple TV, iPad Mini 4, Apple iPad Pro and an Apple Watch might also be announced on the coming event on September 9.
