Sony’s new Smartphone Xperia E4 – Not a Galaxy S6 rival

Sony unveiled its new one in the line of android Smartphones “Xperia E4” this Tuesday. This 5 inch slim bodied design has an attractive curved design. However it’s a unique Sony masterpiece and not a rival to the Galaxy S6 as the fans have been expecting. Instead Sony has made sure that the device is budget friendly with interesting features such a long lasting battery (2,300 mAh), large display and dual SIM support – all at a pocket – friendly price. Coming to the hardware specs, the phone has a 5” qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

The device is powered by Quad – core MediaTek processor (1.3GHz). with 1GB RAM, the user gets 8GB of storage that can be extended. The phone’s rear camera is 5 – megapixel and front camera is 2 – megapixel. Xperia E4 has dimensions of 137 x 74.6 x 10.5 mm weighing 144g. Sony has planned to launch the device later this year and will be available in 2 colors – black and white. Pricing details and the actual release dates aren’t out yet. The display has IPS that gives you the best viewing angle. The phone offers great quality audio playback and comes with “PartyShare” – a fun music app. The battery provides a life of 2 days with its ultra STAMINA mode. The phone can be customized with a number of UI themes and different covers designed to suit the user’s style.

Its design accents are similar to ones found in top Smartphones such as stainless steel camera ring and aluminium diamond cut power button that provides the required precision. To enhance the experience further, you can go for Sony’s accessories like SBH60 Stereo Bluetooth Headset and BSP10 Bluetooth speaker. With the PartyShare app you can share your friend’s music via Wi – Fi Direct and be their DJ. It can be also be used to share the party pictures.
