The launch date of Xiaomi’s Mi 4 smartphone in India is January 28

The launch of Xiaomi’s Mi 4 smartphone in India on January 28 has already been authenticated. Manu Jain, head of Xiaomi, had predicted its price to be Rs.20 000/-, previously in a special dealings with indianexpress.com. Xiaomi World’s listing already contain Mi 4 smartphone with pricing of 4G version as $379.99 (i.e. about Rs.23 474/-). Earlier, Jain stated in a report that the prices of most of their products in India are similar. On the other hand, much lesser prices can be expected while keeping in mind that Xiaomi has a trait of surprising its fans with exciting offers.

In a recent event of Xiaomi at Beijing, they introduced Mi Note and Mi Note Pro smartphones. The release of Mi 4 smartphone was last in July and later on same year in December Jain committed to launch Mi 4 smartphone in India by January 2015. The Mi 4 smartphone has resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 441 ppi with 5-inch IPS display. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It operates on 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with 3GB RAM. The Mi 4 smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 441 ppi along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with 3GB RAM. It has Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system sugarcoated with MIUI 6, it also has an 8M front camera with 13MP rear camera. The rear camera supports video recording upto 4K.

This phone offers connectivity of 4G LTE network with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and is also backed up by a battery of 3080 mAh.
