Apple one month ago denied a news that apple is going to shut the Beats Music. Even many employees from Beats & Apple reported that the Beats Music will be discontinued. But now confirmed news as reported by the Apple Company is that: Apple is renewing the Beats Music Service. Present Apple’s Beat Music Service is available at $9.99 a month with more personal customizable music streaming experience. And customers have the choice to listen the playlists chosen by the Pitchfork Media editor Scott Plagenhoef & Los Angeles hip-hop radio personality Fuzzy Fantabulous. Apple is trying to bring down the current Beat Service charges to as low as $5 a month. For price cut on the present Beat Service charges Apple is negotiating with collaborating music labels further.
Apple acquired Beats Music recently for about $3 million dollars in this August. Apple has made plans to re-launch Beats Music as a component of the iTunes music store in 2015. But this decision of Apple to renew Beats acquisition has been influenced by its financial shortcomings since a year as the music sales have shown dropping to 13 to 14 % overall. And these shortcomings have been reported since 2013 with its first ever sales drop with onset of iTunes store. And the major reason for its decline in sales is mainly due to the faulty subscriptions services. However this trend is the most common situation in the music industry. So Apple along with music industry will experience this pattern in digital sales. This trend is witnessed as the most of the listeners or music lovers joining the music streaming & opting piracy in order to avoid the charges of $1.29 a song on iTunes, most popular music store on Apple. Last year U.S. digital music have seen a 12% drop of downloads but on the other hand album sales remained steady & vinyl sales have been increased.
