Apple Unveils iOS 8 – The newer iOS

Friday the 9th of September, 2014 has a remarkable day for Apple, as it announced the launch of iOS 8, which will be available from the 17 September. Most see this as the biggest ever launch of Apple after the Apps Store. iOS 8 will be available throughout the spectrum of Apple Products such as iPhone, iPad and even the iPod touch. What’s more interesting is that it will available to the Apple users as a free update. iOS 8 promises to deliver faster and better intuitive user experience with features such as the new and better messages, photo features. It also has the Predictive typing for the Apple’s quick type keyboard and the family sharing.

The iOS 8 promises to be a complete package as it has included an all new Health App, which will give you a clear overview of your health and fitness data, in the Health Kit and Home Kit. It also has the iCloud Drive which will enable the users to store their data in Cloud and can access it from anywhere as per their requirement. The iOS 8 will make messaging a better experience altogether, by the feature Simply Tap and Talk to share your voice. These features can be used for the photo and video sharing, both at the same time; the user may browse through them during the conversation also. They user gets the added advantage to add or remove contacts from group messaging. The user may also use the option for not to be disturbed or about leaving a conversation, they may also show their current location via messenger for a particular span of time, like a day or an hour.

With the new iOS 8, clocking and editing photos will be a joy for the user. The photos will have the feature of straitening the horizons automatically, editing will b e a breeze with the light and the colour swipe. The user will have access to tools for adjusting the exposure, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows etc. you can also take help of the Photo Kit to make your own filters.

The new Apple’s QuickType keyboard is set to be smarter and more personalized. It will apprehend the recipient and the app the user is typing in. with its knowledge of your communication, it will suggest the user phrases, so that the writing is finished in half the time, but yes all the knowledge is kept strictly confidential in your phone in an encrypted form, so that it is not available to others.

The iOS 8 has additional features also, such as the expanded security, data protection for all the inbuilt apps. It will also support the configurable thread notifications in the mail, providing quick access to key contacts and the all important switch between Inbox and the Drafts in the mail.
