Apple to bring Siri on Mac

From the sources it is said that Apple will bring Siri, its digital personal assistance for iPhones and iPads, to Macs, it is published this week on the patent application. There is no complete information when Apple will make the move. The version is different from Mac-based version which is already present on iOS devices; it is designed to leverage OS X’s superior horsepower for more sophisticated and powerful tasks, and to push the boundaries of multi-tasking.

According to the application, it has the flexible that the users can request the Siri from anywhere in the OS. According to the iOS version of Siri, for generating the responses for the queries, the desktop virtual assistant will communicate with Apple server. According to the user actions the assistant will use context and verbal cues for the application. The application should conclude like various different things like when user speaks either to dictate a text or might be when user speaks to initiate a web search.

The various options available from Siri for a Mac might be using a graphical context, like when the user hovers the cursor on to a file, Siri will be recognizing the work intention of the user with the user. The Siri takes the instructions of the user either to print, copy or to merge the files whichever the instruction given by the user, it also includes the option like the Siri for Mac can sort, organize and merge files with a required folder. It also has added option like the users can apply the settings to the emails through the spoken commands like, marking the mail message as “urgent” or any other additional settings. Also has an option that keeps the bunch of files on “hold” for a later use by the user when required.

Apple suggests its desktop assistant can act as a “third hand”. Siri can handle different background project when the user starts using keyboard, mouse and track pad to work on one project in the foreground. Siri can find an image by itself when the user wants to insert picture into the document he is presently working, the user has an ability to continue his work while the Siri searches the picture the user requested. The feature of multi tasking is very important in present days for the people. The Siri helps the people to concentrate on a special task though there are several tasks running in the background, and it can be more productive.
