New privacy features for Facebook

Facebook has introduced a few new privacy features to make social networking for its users more safe and secure. By virtue of these features, the users will have the option to choose among the many login methods. First among the features is the default share post option. The moment you post your status or location or even photos you have this feature that allows you to choose with public or who all friends you want to share it with. If you do not pick up an option, by default the ‘share with friends’ option will be selected.

Next feature in the line is ‘public posting reminder’. When you select the public option, you get this quick reminder from Facebook asking you to reconfirm if you really want to share it publicly. Apple iPhone users have an additional feature called the simplified audience selector. You can find the options: public, friends of friends and friends, on top of your screen. A number of apps provide you the option of log in with Facebook. Facebook now gives ‘anonymous’ login option for better information security.

Another latest addition to Facebook is its ‘Ask’ button.

Another latest addition to Facebook is its ‘Ask’ button. Now Facebook finds information for you about someone you are concerned with. Most of us are selective in revealing information about us such as work, relationship status, and location and so on. But now you can request them for information by hitting the ask button. Looks like Facebook wants to play the ‘match – maker’. With its huge global customer base with access to their private information, it could be the next big dating site.
