Facebook Pages Getting A New Look: Streamlined

Say bye bye to the cumbersome look of the pages, the Facebook has decided to streamline the page look. The new look is expected to make it easy for people to get the information they are looking for.

The page admins can also expect things to ease up for them as they can easily find the tools they commonly use. Another change has been introduced in the Page timeline design. All of your page’s posts will now be displayed in the timeline’s right column. This means that all of the posts will appear in your News Feed and Page consistently.

All your business information, maps, phone number, business hours, website URL, photos, videos etc. will be displayed in the left column. Accessing the admin tools has been made easier. Now you can view the running ads, unread messages and notifications and page likes regardless of where you are on the page.

The top of the page shows some new navigation options using which you can easily access your settings, activity insights etc. the Ads manager account is directly accessible through the Build Audience menu at the top. The page insights tool includes the “Pages to watch” feature for all the new pages. Using this feature, the admins can create a similar list of pages for comparing the performance of the business pages with which they are concerned and their own page. The key stats of the pages being watched are displayed on the page’s “overview” tab. Top engaging posts from the last week can be looked up through a feature in the page’s “posts” tab.
