Island Re-appears after 100 years

Island which was thought to be lost more than a century ago in the pacific due to a typhoon, re-emerged on the surface surprising everyone.

The pacific Isle, Nadikdik Atoll Was totally washed away and submerged in the ocean due to a typhoon which killed all it’s inhabitants and wiping the island from the face of the earth. It is documented that only two people survived the typhoon.

The researchers from the geological department of University of New Zealand have studied the reformation of Atoll, which is now part of the remote Marshall islands to show how small islands can reform in short periods of time. Since the typhoon occurred the changes that have occurred in Nadikdik Atoll have been published  in the journal GEOMORPHOLOGY by The University of Auckland. This island was also know also known by the name Knox Atoll. It was also observed that coral reef was damaged in a large area.

Wish all the lost islands could re-surface so quickly.
