An ancient city of China that was left to ruin after the valley was flooded by a dam has caught the widespread attention of divers who are looking at it as an amazing opportunity. The idea was brought into form by a local tourist official.
Shi Cheng, the ancient city of China, has the famous five Lion mountains surrounding it and it were found about 1300 years ago. The place was ruined about half a century back in order to pave way for a new hydroelectric power station and an artificially created lake.
The city which was once bustling with life is now located about 85 to 131 feet below in the water. According to a story published in The Huffington Post, Qiu Feng, a local tourist official took interest in the matter and decided to see what is remaining of the city. Ever since, he found out about the ruins and the beautiful city which has several things intact even now, divers are looking at it as a great area to explore.
