One can generally correlate the word ‘Drone’ with Bombs and Wars. But I think this perception of public is going to change, once ‘Prime Air service’ is implemented. Because it will be little drones that will be delivering products right to the doorstep of customers. AMAZON CEO Mr.Jeff Bezos in a recent interview revealed news about this amazing new project of theirs, which is in the testing phase overseen  by the R&D department  of   the company. He’s also very confident about it and plans to bring the “Prime Air Fleet ” into operation within the next 4 to 5 years. They are yet to get approval from the FAA.

The drones can carry upto a weight of 5 pounds. which constitute 86% of Amazon sales. So, they can deliver majority of the orders right to the customer’s door step from the nearest amazon warehouse in an hour after placing the order. I think PRIME AIR is going to be a trend setter in the future as far as online delivery systems are concerned.
