STEP Conference – One Week To Go!

DUBAI – 28th March 2016, The region’s most disruptive tech conference is only one week away and #STEP2016 promises to be the biggest and best yet with an exciting host of speakers, activations and events. Here is the lowdown for the action packed two-day event happening at the Dubai International Marine Club on 4th and 5th April 2016.

SPEAKERS

There will be more than 100 top speakers from around the world in the fields of tech, digital and entertainment including; Bassem Youssef – satirist, Daniel Brusilovsky – Golden State Warriors, Arif Naqvi – The Abraaj Group, MIMS – RecordGram, Monty Munford – The Telegraph, Dizaster – Hip Hop Artist and Jochen Bischoff – Facebook, Ahmed Shihab-Eldin – VICE, Dena Takruri – AJ+

START UPS

STEP Conference showcases the largest number of start ups in the MENA region. More than 200 of the region’s brightest startups such as Lunch Matcher, Justmop, Howlak, MapNumbers and ChefXChange will be in attendance. Investors and startups will be able to connect at Nescafe’s Connect Café through the Magnitt App.  This year’s pitch competition will be judged by the likes of Wamda Capital, Cadillac and Google.

PARTIES AND NETWORKING

For the first time ever there will be 3 x evening events for eating, drinking, networking and partying. April 3rd – opening night at DIMC, April 4th – networking night at Dek on 8 and Garden on 8 at The Media One Hotel and to wrap things up, April 5th – official DMS after party at Atelier M, Pier 7.
