Apple is holding its next special event on 21st March and a new iPad, iPhone is expected along with some other things. These announcements are sequel to the announcements made by the tech giant in its previous event which was held 6 months ago. Then Apple had announced iPad Pro, iPhone 6S, an iOS update and some Apple Watch Designs. This time expect the same things but smaller. According to present speculations, we might get to see a new 4 – inch iPhone, some watch bands and a smaller iPad. Apple might even release iOS 9 update.
This might be the time of bigger phones, but Apple is not yet ready to give up on smaller phones. Many sources have reported that Apple is working on a new 4-inch phones which will be its first smaller phone after iPhone 5S. Apple’s blog 9to5Mac says that the new iPhone will be called ‘iPhone SE’ instead of 6C or 5SE as it was rumoured. Though it is small, don’t expect it to be some low – end gadget. This new little device will have features from both iPhone 6 and 6S. But, in look it will resemble iPhone 5S. this means more power in a small phone.
iPhone SE will be powered by the A9 processor and will have an 8 – megapixel rear camera, 1.2 – megapixel front camera, a TouchI ID fingerprint sensor, NFC for Apple Pay etc. as reported by 9to5Mac. The one major feature that you won’t find in SE is the 3D Touch. Apple wants to keep it exclusive to 6S Plus.
Apple will be making certain changes in the design of SE to make it resemble 6S. So, we will have a phone will curved glass edges like that of 6S. Apple is expected to roll out iPhone SE in entire range of its colors i.e., gold, rose gold, silver and gray. Did we not mention the price tag? Well it is believed it will be priced at $450. It is expected that Apple will sell SE alongside 6S, in case somebody wants a smaller phone.
Apart from a smaller iPhone, we will get to see a smaller 9.7 inch iPad Pro. It will resemble the 12.9 inch Pro that was launched last year and so will have 4 speakers, bigger RAM, faster processor, 128 GB capacity and stylus support. And for the difference – it will have a connector for attaching a keyboard.
A new Apple Watch isn’t coming yet, but we may get some new watch bands – in new colors or new materials. A release for watchOS might also be round the corner.
Apple usually doesn’t makes a mid – cycle iOS updates, but we might get one. iOS 9.3 is not a new major update but will have some big features such as color toggle which changes iPhone’s display colors to those that are easy on your eyes and some other improved features.
