Azolt and the future smart devices

We are all witnessing an expansion of smart devices. First where the mobile phones and tablets, then came the TVs, now even home appliances have become more intelligent. But, one item that all of us use on a daily basis failed to join the group of smart devices yet. It is the keyboard. So simple, yet so useful.

Azolt is extremely competitive when it comes to products.  The story of the brand revolved around the desire of offering affordable products at high‐quality standards. Thus, in consequence, the products consumers will find released under this brand are equal with the ones made by famous brands, because in most cases they come from the same manufacturer. With Azolt, you will pay the quality and not the brand.
The team of developers from Azolt noticed that keyboards were left behind in this fever of making things smarter, even if it is an item everybody around the globe is using. This team consists of two members for the moment, Angus and Vincent, who are working in Shenzhen, China. Angus is the designer, being the man that always has an idea in his pocket. Vincent is the software engineer, also being passionate about gaming. Together, they want to change the way a keyboard is influencing the gaming experience.

So, with the help of their extensive experience in creating keyboards, this innovative team will try to achieve the impossible, in trying to design the first smart keyboard available on the market. Soon, everybody will be able to use a keyboard that goes beyond its basic features, offering a brand new experience for every user.

How will this keyboard look like? What features will grant it the name of “smart” keyboard? The team of developers at Azolt are still working on it, not allowing too many to show as they don’t want to spoil the surprise. Sneak peeks at the creational process of the revolutionary keyboard reveal that it will be interactive with the rest of the smart devices of the user, and may also have the possibility of offering real-time feedback to the user that loves to play computer games.
So thinking about making a leap into the future? With this new keyboard, we might all be very close to this experience. The way we know keyboards might come to an end since a new dawn is about to appear.
The following are some additional information to gCrusader and Half-mechanical switch. Also, I have enclosed our brand short story for you. We are trying to build another Razer and following their road at the beginning. But it is not our goal for the brand. We found that all digital items are going to be smarter but the keyboard not yet. We have some ideas for the keyboard but no much funding to implement that, for example, the keyboard can be synchronising with the smart devices then getting some feedback for the user and some more features. However, we are going to raise more funding for the implement of our ideas.

At the beginning of Razer, they were using same technology (Half-mechanical) for their keyboards. They call this technology is Dome-switch. However, they are selling mechanical switch keyboard from 2010 after one year (from 2009) testing and negotiation with their OEM Taiwanese manufacturer. We got this history from their OEM manufacturer since we will also produce a true mechanical keyboard with German Cherry mechanical switch from same Razer’s manufacturer. But the gCrusader and gReformer are also coming from a big brand (Thermaltake) OEM manufacturer, so we can say their quality is very good.

For the price, I cannot say that it is true-middle price of all gaming keyboard. We also don’t know why some brands is selling with mechanical keyboard but with a very lower price. According to my knowledge from the big manufacturers, they said that the mechanical switch is not cheap with good quality. It is around USD$0.18 per one and full size keyboard has 104 keys. It is meaning that the cost only for switches are needing around US$18.72 without counting other cost of a keyboard. So the Razer and logitech’s mechanical keyboard are not cheap and the mechanical only focusing the high-end and professional user. Then Razer was starting to give up Dome-switch and the middle market.
