Nexus 5X sports a 5.2 inch full HD IPS display with 423 ppi and advanced ‘in-cell touch’ technology which helps in faster recognition. The advanced display gives better outdoor visibility and sharper images. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s snapdragon 808 processor delivering smooth performance. Its latest type-C USB connector makes even 10 minutes enough for storing charge for 4 hours.
The new nexus phone comes with a 5 MP front camera and a 12.3 MP rear camera. A 1.55µm and 1.4µm sensor on rear and front camera respectively absorb more light when compared to previous models, thus giving you brighter and crispier in both ideal and non-ideal lighting conditions. Nexus 5X can also capture slow motion as well as 4K videos which makes this the most advanced Nexus phone.
Nexus 5X is more secure than the previous nexus phones. It comes with Nexus Imprint having an embedded fingerprint sensor on the back side. Just a single touch is required for powering on or unlocking your device. In US, users will also be able to use android pay through nexus Imprint for making easy purchases. Juno Cho, CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications said, “We are excited to be able to work with Google again on developing Nexus 5X, our best Nexus yet. This time, we wanted to deliver the best hardware for Google’s most advanced software and we’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished together.”
Hiroshi Lockheimer, VP for Android said, “We are excited to partner with LG again to introduce a sequel to a fan-favorite — the new Nexus 5X — and Android 6.0 Marshmallow, our most polished and highest-performing OS yet.”
Nexus 5X can be pre-ordered on Google store in US, UK, Canada, Korea, Japan and Ireland starting today, however shipping will start later in the month of October. Nexus 5X will be available in other countries by October 19 via Google store and retailers. Price for Nexus 5X still hasn’t been announced.
