By subscribing to the Google channel on YouTube they will have access to these videos and stories Google will publish for them instantly. The company has also vowed to provide the journalists their data and also mentioned the new update to Google trends which will allow the users to look into the deeper and in depth feedback that Google will collect from newsrooms and data journalists around the world.
“We’re also helping newsrooms around the world tell stories using data, with a daily feed of curated Google Trends based on the headlines of the day, and through partnerships with newsrooms on specific data experiments.” Google also started that by providing the journalists better exposure, best form of journalism can be achieved. In this regards Google has partnered with Matter, a media accelerator to provide financial support and mentorship from Google engineers which will help these organizations to increase their impact in startups all over the world. Google has also focused on the fact that having a smartphone allows anyone to be a reporter these days, but not a proper journalist. The news lab will be available worldwide with teams based in U.S., U.K., France, and Germany.
