Puzzlephone Collaborates with ImasD for Click ARM Integration

PuzzlePhone is being developed by the Finnish company named as the Circular Devices Ltd. This is the first modular smartphone which is conveniently upgradeable and reparable based on the compatibility of PuzzlePhone powered by open standard Click Arm, which is the first modular tablet founded on ARM architecture by the ImasD. The Circular Devices Ltd., At Wolrd Mobile Congress – MWC in Barcelona, Spain, the Finnish start up backing the PuzzlePhone modular devices, declares a partnership deal with ImasD which is the Spanish organization having speciality in ARM architecture creating innovative electronic devices. The agreement is to develop the PuzzlePhone together with future compatible products around the Click ARM i.e. Advanced Removable Modules, modular technology.

The founder of ImasD, Pedro Pelaez, says that the technology of Click ARM is proven with tablet format and adaptation of this technologyto a more compact format is a natural fit. Compatible PuzzlePhone powered by Click ARM is the open standard which allows simpler approach and greater versatility to third parties who are wishing to participate in the project.

The CEO of PuzzlePhone, Alejandro Santacreu, says when, in last December, they ontroduced the concept of PuzzleCluster they aimed to utilize the PuzzlePhone modules apart from the format of smart phone. The team up with ImasD broadens this idea into the products that will be developed in a convenient and a more flexible way.

PuzzlePhone will be one of the first PuzzlePhone Compatible powered by Click ARM products, the earliest modular smart phone acknowledging the market needs in a responsible and sustainable way.
