Updated Twitter iOS app true but brutal

Twitter is a very popular social media site. With lots of followers often people feel very happy to realize good amount of support. But, a question which pops up is, how many of the followers really care about us? This answer can now be availed in the updated iOS app. This app allows users to view few major statistics. These statistics include how many saw your tweet, clicked your link, expanded the tweet, etc. This is a very useful statistic to determine the effect of your tweet. The analytic dashboard was made available earlier this year. But, it was available only for the desktop version. On the other hand, advertisers and promotion companies have had access to these analytics previously also, so this doesn’t make much of a difference to them.

The iOS Twitter app users will get this update shortly. However, no stipulated time period was provided for the update of the app on the Android operating software. This information was confirmed through a series of tweets by Ian Chan, who provides his facilities in the field of analytics, platform and web for Twitter. To activate the analytics services, an individual has to first visit the analytic site. An option ‘view analytics details’ should appear below the tweets (on iOS) after this. The various analytics shown in the site include total impressions, total engagements (in the form of clicks, re-tweets, etc) percentage statistics, etc.

After using this service, only new tweets would be provided with the analytics feature. Spokesperson informed that Twitter on most occasions is accessed on mobile and this was an obvious move to keep them satisfied. This is an essential step as the company is facing significant amount of pressure to retain its users.
