Microsoft looks forward to windows 10, but not windows 9

Looks like there will be nothing to experience about windows 9, as Microsoft has unveiled Windows 10 at an event in San Francisco. The tech giant promises of many new features in windows 10 making it a better counterpart of earlier version of much loved operating system – windows 8 and 8.1. why did Microsoft made the skip? According to Forbes, it is because Microsoft did the same while moving from windows vista to windows 7 which was of course a great transition. Microsoft wants to use the same formula for creating the same dissonance and warding off bad memories users have about the previous versions. However, for now only desktop version has been revealed. Soon we will see notebook and mobile version. Other good news is that the much loved feature – the start menu will again be seen in windows 10 which unfortunately was removed from the windows 8 and 8.1. There will be other additional features which will allow you to customize the look and feel of your desktop – resizing the applications, dragging them around, multitasking via quadrant and so on. The continuum feature will be kept for the people who are using two – in – one computer. There will be no problem in switching back and forth between tablet mode and pc mode. The official launch of windows 10 is to take place next year probably in July.
