Dimitrov and Gael Monfils play the match at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the third time. They have met together at the same stadium three years ago and Dimitrov has won the game in straight 3 sets. In the other match Federer will be playing against Bautista Agut for the first time which is an evening match. At Arthur Ashe stadium Federer has already set a record of 24-1 at the night matches. Federer has become the seventh player in tournament history to win 70 US open single matches. It will be a tie for the 5th position against Pete Sampras and Bill Tilden if he wins the match in quarter-finals. Federer is trying to reach his 10th US OPEN quarter-final in past 11 years and 43rd in major. Bautista has made a heap jump from No. 50 to No. 19, at ATP World Tour he is the most improved player this season. He already won ATP World Tour for two times and in last January in Australian Open he advanced till fourth round.
No. 14 Marin Cilic plays against No. 20 Gilles Simon on Armstrong. Marin Cilic has won four times against Simson, which includes a five-set second-round match at the Australian Open in January. Simon is one the Frenchmen who have proceeded to fourth round, is looking forward for his second Grand Slam quarter-final, in 2011 he reached to the fourth round here.
