Apple’s much awaited wearable finally arrives: Apple Watch

The Cupertino based smartphone giant Apple has been innovating and progressing in terms of technology ever since its inception. While most of Apple’s competitors are already in the watch gear market, Apple has decided that it is time for it to enter that market as well. The iWatch will announce Apple’s contender ship in this market. Months ago Apple sought to patent its new creation and call it the Apple watch.

The creation of Apple Watch is a result of in-depth research as the company has been working on this concept for quite a long time now and the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) awarded the patent to the Cupertino firm for a wrist-worn gadget design with touchscreen, gestures and smartphone connectivity. Apple has high hopes for the Apple Watch and has described it as the most personal device ever which features revolutionary new technologies and a new user interface with a beautiful design. A new tool known as the Digital Crown has been introduced in the watch which allows the user to scroll, navigate and zoom in a new way.  Plenty of health and sports related apps are also featured in the Apple Watch which can help people lead better and healthier lives.

In terms of artificial Intelligence the Apple Watch is quite advanced. Siri returns as the convenient application for helping the user. Apple has introduced a feature known as the Force torch, a technology that senses the difference between a tap and a press, providing a new way to quickly and easily access controls within apps. Apart from this the Apple Watch sports a Taptic Engine and built-in speakers and others.

As of now the watch is being sold in three distinct versions namely, Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition which are in turn available in two different sizes, 38m and 42mm. The Apple watch is extremely accurate and comes with 11 faces ranging from traditional faces to new ones. The watch can be customized according to the user and there are millions of combinations available for that. It is also compatible with all the Apple devices present in the market. Apple Watch lets you interact quickly and conveniently with the world around you, so you can pay for coffee using Apple Pay or control your Apple TV or get directions. The watch can measure your Heart-beat during workout or while you are running. It also keeps a history of your health and suggests realistic goal and rewards personal fitness milestones to keep you motivated.

All the three editions of the watch will be available in different colors including grey, black, blue green, pink and white. The Apple watch is compatible with iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus running the latest version of iOS 8. The Apple Watch will be available in the US only in the early 2015 and is priced at $349.s
