Apple sets a new record of First Weekend iPhone sales top 10 Million

Apple has announced on September 22, 2014 through a press release on its website that Apple sold over 10 Million iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus models. And mentioned that: this new record that too just after three days soon after the launch of Apple iPhones on September 19. From September 19 onwards iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus have already hit the market & are available in the countries: U.S, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore & the UK. Soon Apple iPhones will be made available in more than 20 countries additionally on September 26. And by the year end the iPhones will be available mostly in 115 countries.

“Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We would like to thank all of our customers for making this our best launch ever, shattering all previous sell-through records by a large margin. While our team managed the manufacturing ramp better than ever before, we could have sold many more iPhones with greater supply and we are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible.”
