More than half of people infected with Ebola have died, in some of the areas in past it also rated that 90 percent have died. The symptoms of Ebola are the patient will suffer from Fever and become week, Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, severe body pains, sometimes it may bleeding from nose and ears. Ebola is caused by a virus; it doesn’t have any Vaccine and no treatment available.
It is very highly contagious and many people get affected very soon. The people who are affected can spread the disease to others; the people who are in direct contact with the patients are at higher risk. It also can be spread through the dead bodies. Rodents are also carriers of Ebola.
People have to take care from the disease, wash hands with soap or with a hand sanitizer is better, avoiding physical contact with people frequently, restricted from eating outside and preparing at home. Should use protective gears when needed to go near the infected person. Report immediately if you find any suspicious symptoms in self or anyone else.
Two of the worst hit countries are Liberia and Sierra Leone. The breakage was begun in Guinea in the month of March before spreading to the neighboring countries Sierra Leone and Liberia. A traveler has recently carried the disease to Nigeria, which lead to few cases in the giant city of Lagos. Ebola has started in 1976; it has been restricted to 10 nations in Africa, but never before in the region of West Africa. The spread of disease is due to the lack of experience with the disease.
Sierra Leone is still recovering from a decade of civil war where children are also forced to fight. Liberia, originally founded by freed Americans slaves, also endured civil wars in the 1990s. Guinea is trying to establish a young and fragile democracy. It has become very difficult for the countries to control the disease in crossing the national borders, thus spreading in urban areas.
