Moto X Can Now Be Unlocked With Digital Tattoos

Security and privacy is of utmost importance to everyone, which is why every company making mobile devices try to ramp up their security protocols and wrap up the device in a web of passwords and passcodes. But sometimes it can get quite tiresome for the user. You might witness something extraordinary happening and want to click a picture of it, but thanks to all the passwords and such by the time you get to the camera on your device, the moment may have passed.

But what if you had a tattoo on your wrist or arm which could help unlock your device in seconds? Sounds very futuristic does it?

But Motorola has made this a reality. They have developed a temporary digital tattoo in collaboration with VivaLnk that can be worn by the user on their skin. A pack of 10 such tattoos comes for $9.99 and each tattoo lasts for five days. According to Motorola, these tattoos will save an average user around 7.5 minutes a week.

These convenient tattoos will work with the Moto X Smartphone, whether other Motorola devices or other Android devices will be compatible with this handy little gadget is not clear yet.
