IPL 2014 final match has been moved from mumbai to Bangalore

The IPL Governing Council met at the Cricket Centre, Mumbai, earlier today, and took the following decisions:

The GC confirmed the shift of the 14th May home game of Kolkata Knight Riders against Mumbai Indians, from the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, to the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.
2. Unavailability of Chennai venue for 2014 season of Pepsi IPL
TNCA informed the GC that the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai is not available for the ongoing season of the Pepsi IPL.  GC decided to move the 2 home matches of CSK scheduled on 18th and 22nd May to Ranchi. CSK has been using Ranchi as its alternate home venue for this Pepsi IPL season, and will continue to do so, for the remainder for the season.
GC appreciated the support of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association and Orissa Cricket Association,  in agreeing to host the Pepsi IPL 2014 matches at such a short notice.
3. Schedule – Pepsi IPL 2014 Playoffs:
Considering that twenty matches of the ongoing Pepsi IPL season were played overseas, the GC took a decision to try and take the Playoffs to as many different stadia as possible. Several venues had expressed their interest in hosting the Playoffs.
After due discussion, the Pepsi IPL 2014 Playoff Schedule was confirmed as follows:
27 May 2014 – 8:00 pm
Qualifier 1:  1 v 2 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata
Reserve Day – 4:00 pm on 28 May at the same venue
28 May 2014 – 8:00 pm
Eliminator: 3 v 4 at  Brabourne Stadium, Cricket Club of India, Mumbai
Reserve Day – 8:00 pm on 29 May at the same venue
30 May 2014 – 8:00 pm
Qualifier 2: Q1 loser v Eliminator winner – Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai (No reserve day)
1 June 2014 – 8:00 pm
Final: Q1 winner v Q2 winner – M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
Reserve Day – 8:00 pm on 2 June at the same venues
