Galaxy S5 duos for Chinese Market

The Galaxy S5’s dual SIM variant has been launched by Samsung for the china customers. This is the latest smartphone unveiled by Samsung and is officially called Galaxy S5 G9009D. The Korean Smartphone giant stated that it is exclusively for the Chinese market. India might also see a similar launch very soon according to some rumours. The phone is available on china telecom at the price of CNY 5,299 which equals to Rs 51,200 approx. one SIM slot supports GSM network while the other supports CDMA 2000. The Smartphone has a handsome 5.1 inch super Amoled HD display with an amazing resolution of 1920×1020 pixels (the one that comes with single SIM versions).

The Qualcomm 2.5GHz snapdragon 801 series paired up with a quad core CPU along with a 2GB RAM powers the device. It runs on the latest android v4.4.2 kitkat OS. The built – in storage capacity of the Smartphone is 16GB that can be extended up to 128GB using the microSD card. The phone does have one shortcoming which is that it is not LTE compatible for the Chinese networks which means that many may not consider it. The rest of the features are at par with the single SIM variant’s features. The dual SIM version weighs 1.5g more than original S5. The company has not given any indication of releasing this phone outside china.
