A new improved iOS 8 coming your way

A new improved iOS 8 coming your way

Just very recently, Apple made its iOS 7.1 available to public, but it seems we will see a shift to iOS 8 very soon. We went through the details of this upcoming version of Apple iOS whose feature updates we started getting since last month. A new HealthBook app has been introduced that will put Apple into the race of health related apps that have created a sudden rush in the app market. We also have the 9to5Mac coming back with a lot more features to make a mark in iOS 8. Even though its track record has been nearly flawless in bringing out the tech giant’s unannounced plans, a couple of new features apart from the updates in iOS 8 were revealed on the blog this Tuesday.

As per the reports, the major focus of Apple would be on iOS maps improvements. Apple still has not been able to catch up with the Google Maps when it comes to reliability and accuracy. You might recall the criticism Apple had to face following its mapping solution release that had bugs enough to get people nearly killed at some point. According to reports from 9to5Mac, the updated mapping solution will have enhanced transit guidance with better data – thanks to Apple’s recent acquisitions –  Embark, HopStop and BroadMap.

Now the news concerning iOS 9 has it that it might include indoor mapping and some other reality features. Unless there is change in the plans, we can expect the introduction of the iOS 8 in this summer’s annual WWDC conference. The developers can then have the first beta version of the much awaited iOS. And for us, we can expect the release probably with the new iPhone 6 launch in the fall or might be with its Phablet counterpart.
