Telegana Bill Moved in Lok Sabha

The Telegana Bill was moved by the Government for consideration in the Lok Sabha amidst chaos and disorders created by the opponents of the legislation. Owing to the disorderly state, the discussions regarding the legislations was prevented because of continuous adjournment.

Telegana Bill has long been garnering much attention in the political circuit and there has been a huge difference of opinions regarding the bill. Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde moved the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2014 despite the ministers and MPs of Seemandhra opposing bifurcation of the state.
The protest saw the call for a United Andhra Pradesh and there should not be any sort of bifurcation. Slogans were raised and placards were carried in order to pass on the message. Ministers who are part of Well includes K S Rao and Chiranjeevi. CPI(M) also joined the protest against the separation of the state and creation of Telegana for the first time.

The bill was introduced on 13th of February amidst a lot of oppositions and lot of parties did not go with it. Home Minister Shinde spoke about the bill but the speaker had to adjourn the House till the time 3 PM in order to prevent any disruptions.
