Barcelona, Spain / Feb 24 — Today at Mobile World Congress, Nokia has introduced three new Android smartphones: Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL.
Nokia said in their official press release:
Nokia XL, the biggest among the three new smartphones, has a 5-inch display, 768 MB of RAM, 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and 2 MP secondary (front) camera. On the other hand, Nokia X and X+ both have 4-inch displays and 3 MP fixed-focus cameras, said former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop while unveiling the smartphones. All three smartphones will run on a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, have screen resolution of 800x480p. Nokia will also offer a 4GB microSD card free with Nokia X+ and XL smartphones.
These 3 smartphones are priced to capture the fast-growing affordable smartphone market. Nokia X will immediately go for sale in the Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, India, the Middle East and African markets at the starting price of EUR 89 (equivalent in their local currencies).
The Nokia X+ and Nokia XL are expected to be available in these markets by early second quarter which are actually priced at EUR 99 and EUR 109, respectively.
