EditorNani and Keerthy Suresh starrer “Nenu Local” is an action-romantic movie from tollywood (Telugu language). Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Dil Raju, the movie revolves around the love story of Babu (played by Nani) and Keerthi (played by Keerthy). But as is the norm, there’s a problem with every love story. Nani has given good performance both on the romantic as well as action side. But this is not better than his previous work. Trinadha had a huge success with “Cinema Choopistha Maava”. However, Nenu Local hasn’t faired enough even though Trinadha used the same formula. Some might say that the character of Babu is too offensive as he is portrayed harassing the girl till she falls for him. This could have been portrayed in a better way.
However, sudden outbursts of heroism will make you laugh. The action scenes don’t look natural either. As usual, a third character in the story is introduced, but it only lengthens the run time and doesn’t seem to make story any better. Overall, the climax of the film is too predictable. As the movies closes toward end, we get to hear good dialogs. Devi Sri Prasad has done a decent job with the music and the songs have been shot well. Overall, Nenu Local is an average movie and could have been better.
