Bengaluru all set to stage Panorama film fest

It’s been 20 years since Bengaluru hosted the Panorama Film Festival. Well, now here it is again round the corner and Bengaluru is all set to host it again. The festival will continue from March 17 to March 20.

The four – day event will be inaugurated on 17th march with the screening of Ottal (Malyalam Film), a Berlin Film Festival award winner.

The Chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, SV Rajendra Singh Babu said that the screening of the movies will take place at the Chamundeshwari Studios at Millers Road. He said, “The festival is open to all and screenings will start at 12.30pm.” He also mentioned that apart from movies visitors will have many workshops to explore including Direction, Photography, documentary – making, screenplay and acting. He said, “These workshops will help students and upcoming directors”.

I Cannot Give You My Forest (Kui)
Gunjaa (Bhojpuri)
Sadabahar Brass Band (Marathi)
Kadambari (Bengali)
The Silence (Marathi)
Priyamanasam (Sanskrit)
