Sunil plays the role of Krishna, an NRI who is always dreaming of coming back to his motherland. Unfortunately, one or the other issue comes up and he is not able to make it. After some time he leaves for India without asking his family. But, here he is attacked by an unknown group and somehow escapes. By this time, he gets caught in a tricky situation with a Rayalaseema family. Soon, he comes to know that the entire family wants to kill him. But why? And what he will do now? And where do other characters Dimple and Nikki come in? to know this, watch it!
Like always Sunil has given his best and is also a good dancer. Nikki Galrani has a decent role and has played it well. The movie’s way of revealing the suspense is good. Rest, Ashutosh Rana, Mukesh Rishi and Viva Harsha have played their role well too. The film scores brownie points with its well-executed scenes.
The way Sunil’s character has been shown in the movie is a bit disappointing in contrast to his previous lively characters. After the interval, the story does starts looking silly and appear out of main theme of the movie.
Also, we do not see much depth in supporting actors’ roles.
It looks like the songs are over-crowding the movie. They appear every now and then and test your patience well! However, the movie has been shot at nice spots. Chota K Naidu has done some very good camera work.
The direction by Vasu Varma is decent but does not crosses the expectations. Just when you start feeling that its getting interesting, something out of the storyline pops up.
Sunil is popular with the audience for his comic and crazy roles which is missing big time in Krishnashtami. The film manages to throw few comic scenes here and there. overall, it’s just a routine family drama.
