S/O Satyamurthy, releasing today in 1375 screens around the world

“S/O Satyamurthy” is a romantic comedy film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It has an ensemble cast featuring Allu Arjun, Upendra, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sneha,Adah Sharma, Nithya Menen and Rajendra Prasad.  The film is produced under the banner of Haarika and Haasine Creations by S. Radha Krishna. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for its soundtracks and background score, while Prasad Murella handled the camera work. The censor board gave the film a U/A certificate and it is all set to release worldwide on 9th April. Originally slated to be released on 2nd April, its release was delayed by a week.

It is a typical family entertainer with all the necessary elements of a commercial film. This is a story of a young man who is trying to restore the name and fame of the family after his father who was once a rich man loses everything trying to help others and then leaves the family saddled with huge debts. His son then becomes a wedding planner and clears the debts. The rest of the story revolves around how he restores the family name. Prakash Raj and Allu Arjun portray the roles of the father and son respectively, and the performance of the duo is one of the main attractions of the film.

Filming was delayed several times and eventually began on 22nd September 2014. The film was shot in Hyderabad primarily.
