In the story, Rock plays the role of a famous comedy star Andre, who now wants to be taken seriously. The comedy star is busy with some promotional events for his upcoming movie Uprize and also his forthcoming wedding with Gabrielle Union, a reality show star. Andre allows Chelsea Brown who is a newspaper reporter, played by Dawson to hang out around him for the profile, she wants to write. Marriage tips are being provided by Jerry Seinfeld, Whoopi Goldberg and Adam Sandler in the strip club scene.
It basically describes the transition phase of comedian star. His personal world is on verge of becoming small, as he is falling apart for Chelsea Brown. The locations used in the movie are extremely delightful. The film has some really special moments of few minutes, which would make it worth for the ticket price you spend.
