The movie is perfect and suitable for Rajinikanth’s style and performance.
This Telugu movie begins with awesome entertainment and superstar’s entry scene will make us go crazy and a typical colorful opening song. The first half of the movie is entertaining with Rajinikanth’s performance and his comic partnership with Santhanam keeps the movie going with fun and it has the entire elements like fast action scenes, glamour and even some good humor which is all suitable for the Telugu fans and audiences.
The second half of the movie is where most of the fans where little disappointed and the screenplay and the direction were at fault. The flashback scenes were done with no essence and the strong dialogues which were Rajinikanth’s forte were not capitalized. Sonakshi comes in the second half and does a pretty good job with her character. The music which was made by the maestro Rahman lacked the soul and the background score was very dull and didn’t feel like a superstar movie.
The one reason which makes you sit throughout without any hesitation would be in Rajinikanth’s screen presence where he carries his dual roles with command and style. The man never loses his personality; his powerful looks and charisma makes you forget all that is at fault.
The movie has done well in the box office worldwide for the first weekend, but it would find it difficult to sustain its command in the second week. The movie is still a good entertainer for Telugu audiences worldwide and its masala elements keeps the audiences satisfied.
So the verdict given by all is that this Telugu movie is still a must watch for Superstar’s fans and audiences for the magic he has created on screen as he always does.
