Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu hit the Silver Screen today in between the hype’s of viewer’s curiosity levels reaching sky high. As this movie Aagadu brings back the hit crazy comedy Dookudu fame combination of Sreenu Vaitla & Prince Mahesh Babu to entertain audience. The movie Aagadu once again pushes Sreenu Vaitla’s individual stamp of comic line screen presentation & Mahesh Babu’s personalized dialogue diction & electrifying performance. Aagadu released all over the world today with record number of screen openings of over 2000.

Story Line:

Shankar (Mahesh Babu), an orphan is looked after & foster cared by Raja Rao (Rajendra Prasad).  But Raja Rao quits Shankar from house mistakenly with a bias on Shankar. Shankar on course of time becomes an Encounter Specialist & posted in Bukkapatnam.

Bukkapatnam locality has already caught in the hands of Damodar (Sonu Sood), don running crime activities at skyrocketing levels. So Shankar plans to put an end to the crimes of Damodar & decline his powers totally. Instead of a annoying fact about Damodar which in turn is related back to his family. Further this revelation leads Shankar to soar still high emotionally, and sets Shankar on the track of revenge & rivalry, both professionally & personally. And the sequence of the story is the main core & climax of the story.

Aagadu’s this part of the story needs some core points that can be seen on Silver Screen only.  And the curiosity levels raises with the posing answers, but what the actuality is held in the movie is!!! What’s that truth that’s been revealed to Shankar about Damodar??? What’s the plan that Shankar owns to put an end to Damodar??? And how the other lead role character Saroja (Tamannaah) introduced to Shankar (Mahesh). What’s the part of Brahmanandham & other comic characters shares the stage in this entire riddle.  To further know the answers, test the expected guesses to be right or wrong, to have a dip into the comedy & get entertained means only the way is to go & watch the movie Aagadu on Silver Screen.

Plus Points:

  • Aagadu as expected is all in all Mahesh Babu’s movie.  And one more proof of one man show that’s Mahesh Babu’s enchanting electrifying performance, powerful punching dialogue’s with his own stylish diction carry’s the mileage of the show to the heart’s of the audience.
  • As usual & as casual as Mahesh ever looks on screen as cop with a fine tune of his dashing smartness fits the role of a cop superbly well.
  • And the way he imbibes & immerses himself in the character of Shankar is all that matters much for the fans & audience as the character comes up with punch dialogues, fun & satires.
  • Coming to lead actress role Saroja, Tamannaah fits the role & looks gorgeous as village beauty & as a perfect Jodi to Shankar (Mahesh Babu).
  • Shruthi Haasan’s charming & glamming performance in a song is additional bonanza to the mass audience.
  • Brahmanandham with his dance episodes & co comedian’s comic scenes steals the show & puts the audience in hilarious zone of laughing sessions of audience.
  • Nassar is once again matched with Mahesh & Vennela Kishore.  Nassar as Police constable fits the role.
  • Songs & Music are entertaining & picturized well.
  • Rajendra Prasad, Posani & Ashish Vidyardhi have done a good work by fitting in their roles.

Minus Points:

  • As usual & as expected the movie Aagadu too has a stamp & trademark of Sreenu Vaitla’s comedy lineup.
  • Entire second half shares the imitation of Dookudu style.
  • Climax of the movie is very simple.
  • Story & narration of the movie is routine.
  • Sonu Sood’s character is not elevated.

Technical Aspects:

  • S.S.Taman’s music is a great plus with superb tunes in accordance to the flow of film with awesome background score.
  • All songs are richly picturized & chart busters.
  • K.V. Guhan’s splendid cinematography stands as the highlight for the movie.
  • Dialogue’s need a mention that are punchy & with satires covering full length.

Verdict:

Aagadu with all its stardom with all the lead actors has rich performance. Aagadu once again proves the stardom of Mahesh Babu. And Mahesh Babu’s acting professionalism with his electrifying performances, powerful punch dialogues, his dialogue diction & his casual style of comic timing acts all put together with power pack rivalry. But some where the Sreenu Vaitla’s regular style of screen play of comic entertainment trademark gets carry forward even in this movie too. Music stands as another highlight for the movie. Regular storyline with mass commercial elements with comedy touch entertainment. Aagadu movie will stand as a good weekend Family entertainer.
