Google Fit is a boon for Developers because of its open platform, which makes the Developers to build fitness apps & which contributes to both personalized and professional purposes. Google made a preview of Google Fit Software Developer Kit to Developers.
This Google Fit Software Developer Kit works by the aid of sensors on mobile & wearables. Google Fit will in turn stay tuned with the data feedback of users through the medium of apps that may include like LF, Nike, Basis, Adidas, Polar, Motorola, Runtastic and Basis so as to improvise & enhance the apps still more utilitarian & user friendly by knowing how the user’s are benefited. Though, the Developers are allowed to Google preview SDk now, but they will be given chance to release the apps they develop mostly a year later, as soon as the Google Fit appears on the Google Play Stores & goes live with Tablets, Android Wear, Smartphone’s & the Web.

Google Fit SDK preview came out with three API feature sets. Here goes the features list. series start with Sensors API next comes Recording API & the last one is History API. Let’s come to the functionality of these three API’s now. As per the preview, the Sensors API’s function is to make the apps to send & receive information orally through the device or wearable’s so as to track the ongoing things such as the user’s heart beat rate or distance covered by the user. The Recording API’s function is collection & storage of data such as the location. And the History API’s function is to give back the information such as location.
Google Fit Software Developer Kit works with the coordination of these three API’s. This Google SDK allows the Developers about the all the information about the app user’s pertaining to their fitness history, that helps the Developers to not only take a step but also to take a leap & develop most innovative, most accurate & more powerful apps that absolutely focus on & serve professional purposes, personalized coaching, fitness insights & recommendations.
