Microjoule with Macro Mileage - Small Car that gives very big Mileage

At present petrol prices are hiking day-by-day. We know that one litre of petrol costs minimum of 78 INR in India i.e. 1.31 USD. People in countries like India prefer more mileage giving vehicles, say 1000 km per litre? It would be really great if we have a vehicle of that kind. Don’t say impossible.

Students from La Joliverie college in france built a car that can travel around 3330 km per litre. They’ve named the car as Microjoule. This superlight vehicle was the winner of this year’s Shell European Eco-Marathon contest.

Features of Microjoule:

It weighs just about 35 Kg.Its over 33 times lighter than an average family car in Europe.
It is one of the world’s most fuel efficient vehicles.
Low Tyre resistance, air resistance and a very low drag coefficient are the key features for this car to get good fuel efficiency.
We can run this car either with petrol or ethanol.
Minimum weight of the driver is 50kg (110 lbs).

Lets congratulate the students for inventing this Microjoule which is the best fuel efficiency vehicle and hope this car / kind of vehicles available for everyone in the market. It just don’t save money but also environment.
