Google developing 10 GB/s Broadband Internet Speeds

Google developing 10 GB/s Broadband Internet Speeds

Google Fiber. Not many people in India know of it as well as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, or Google Drive and now it’s going to be 10 GB per second Internet – Google Fiber. Google Fiber is a very high speed internet service by Google. It Provides internet speeds of 1GB/sec. We all know Google as a corporation which does not compromise on quality. Now, it’s taking the game to a whole new level.

I think the recent decision of Google to expand their 1 GB/sec Data Service (presently enjoyed  by folks of Kansas city alone) to ten times it’s capacity in a few years re-affirms that. Wow! I can’t think of a playing field, Google is not interested to provide it’s service of extra-ordinary standards. News,  released to the Press during the “Goldman Sachs technology and internet conference”, recently took the world by storm. And also stirred a few in the hearts of it’s competitors.

I seriously believe that Google is going to put some competitors out of business. 1 GB/sec data speed lets you download HD videos in matter of seconds. Imagine what one could do with 10GB/sec speed. From my personal experience, I think Internet speed is something like fine vintage wine. No matter how much you have, you always feel like having more.

It is also great news for those living in Provo and Austin as the company is planning to expand it’s present 1GB services to Provo, Utah and forward it to Austin, Texas later. So let’s hope that Google Fiber quickly expands it’s services around the world and those lucky ones staying in the above cities, brace yourselves, because you are really going to enjoy new GOOGLE FIBER.
