FIR against Mukesh Ambani: Delhi Government

New Delhi, India — The Delhi Government directed Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to register an FIR against Reliance Industries Limited, Chairperson Mukesh Ambani, Union Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily, former Director General of Hydrocarbons VK Sibal and Former Petroleum Minister Murali Deora under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The Delhi Government decided to probe based on the complaints that were filed by prominent citizens which includes Supreme Court Lawyer Kamini Jaiswal, former secretary of India EAS Sarma, former Navy Chief Admiral RH Tahiliani and former Cabinet Secretary TSR Subramaniam. The complained put-forth that the gas prices would reach a major hike in April because of some arrangements between RIL and some of the ministers of the central government. The hike would cause higher level of difficulty to the common man and would cause issues in electric prices, transportation and domestic gas facilities.

Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal revealed that he was quite shocked by the details given in the complaint and feels that it would be a great hindrance to the economic progress of the nation. As the matter is under probe, the CM has asked the central government to put a hold on the gas price hike till the issue comes to a completion.
