Fastest Production Car on Earth record broken by Hennessey Venom GT

It is a sad news for the Bugatti fans and its management alike as Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is no longer the Fastest Production car on earth. The Hennessey Venom GT broke the record set by Bugatti with a slight margin of 0.63 mph.

The previous speed record existed at 269.86 mph and the present one stands at 270.49 mph. The test was conducted at the former space shuttle landing strip at Kennedy space centre. when asked about the small margin of difference in the record, Mr Brian said “If we could run on an 8-mile oval we could go faster than that.” and Hennessey says the Venom was still accelerating at 1 mph per second when it had to stop as it approached the end of the runway.

As the famous saying goes “records are meant to be broken. ” Lets see who breaks this record next.
