Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series is going to hit Indian market

With the company’s strong engineering presence in India and the support for Neural processing SDK, Qualcomm’s new chipsets will be used by many mobile manufacturers in India in the near future.

The launch of new Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 660 mobile platforms is great news for tech lovers in India. The chipset has been designed with improved features like fast LTE speed, high quality camera, long battery life and it supports fast paced gaming. Now greater number of people will be able to enjoy the compact performance of a high end device at a reasonable price without compromising on the quality.

This new series will have improved high definition videos quality and gaming experience. Both series has 20 to 30 percentage improvement in CPU and GPU performance than their predecessor respectively. The 660 chip will consume less data than Snapdragan 652 as its supports 2×2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi and will deliver twice the data throughput of 652 chips. Both series have low power consumption for navigation apps and Bluetooth 5. Both chipsets come with Snapdragon X12 LTE modem which supports 600 Mbps downlink data rates ensuring very fast downloads.

Using the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine, SDK manufacturer has developed superior machine learning features which include tracking of object, recognition of face, deletion of background noise etc. It has built-in biometric security keeping the privacy of the consumer intact.

With the company’s strong engineering presence in India and the support for Neural processing SDK, Qualcomm’s new chipsets will be used by many mobile manufacturers in India in the near future. Qualcomm’s continues to bring the best features in chipset and promises that these features would be made available with 400 and 200 series chipsets but that won’t happen for another two years. Till then these new 600 series chipsets will help OEMs and developers power immersive user experience.
