Cricket World Cup 2015, India into Semi Finals

Captain Mushrafe Mortaza led Bangladesh to the quarterfinals in World Cup 2015 which is first quarterfinals for the country. He said that now pressure on his players is quite less and they are excited for the match against India which remains unbeaten this Thursday. England was eliminated by Bangladesh from pool A before it failed to New Zealand by 3 in match that recorded new high scores the last week. Mortaza said before match “The group stage was more important for us because we knew that we have to go through because back home the people are expecting we can beat some bigger sides.” He also added “That was more pressure, I think. For tomorrow, the boys are very relaxed. It is going to be a very exciting match for us because we feel very proud and very good in ourselves.” On the other side the Indian players are too excited for the match ahead of them after completing one – day series successfully in Australia. This has helped Indian team is setting up a good defense for themselves in the CWC 2015.

Suresh Raina said that India has done well in bowling, batting as well as fielding with 3 more games to go and that they are not taking Bangladesh lightly because it has played well till now. India lost against Bangladesh in 2007 World Cup and Asia cup. Mortaza said that the victory depends on how the game is played that day and he hoped his team would execute the plan well. Fans of Indian cricket team have been in wonderful excitement throughout the match and the MCG is expected to be full on the day. A crowd of 85000 plus people is expected to be present during the match. Mortaza said the team won’t be overwhelmed by the huge fan crowd of India and hoped that they will play well. He further added that it doesn’t matter if they lose or win because they will always have their fans’ support.
